Overhaul update
Work has commenced on grinding down and drilling out some of the firebox stays.
Two cracks have been discovered –
the “T” marks on the upper right hand side show the area in question.
Evidence of the removal of all the rivets that held the left hand cab side in place.
Work continues on cleaning the sliders prior to their being sent away for grinding.
