Overhaul update
The frame section fully welded into place. The pink effect is for crack detection to ensure that the welds are sound.
The weld at the top rear of the new section. Grinding flat has begun but not yet complete.
All the checks on alignment are summed up in the final figure of 1.0mm, which is the total deviation along the length of the repair. This is probably within the tolerance allowed when the engine was first built!
