Overhaul update
The chimney is in place although probably not finally depending upon work in progress inside the smokebox.
Inside the smokebox showing the bottom of the chimney with the exhaust ejector ring in place. The two brown pipes will be welded together using a suitable elbow followed by being connected to the exhaust ejector pipe that runs from the outside of the smokebox to the ejector itself which is just in front of the cab on the left hand side of the firebox.
A closer look inside with the top of the blastpipe (covered with a white rag) just visible.
Even closer with the superheater elements clearly visible as is the top of the blast pipe.
The right hand cylinder snifting valve (the brass coloured item with the holes) was fitted by the paid staff. The left hand one was to follow later in the day.
And so to the cab showing the left hand fixed front window temporarily in place.

Also fitted by the working party was the right hand front spectacle window.
