Stanier Mogul – 90th Birthday On the 24th January 1934 – LMS locomotive number 13268 entered traffic, going on to be 2968 and 42968. Here is a brief look back at the sole surviving Stanier Mogul’s history, and with its recent return to steam we look forward to many more exciting years ahead!
13268 photographed at Crewe Works on the 14th April 1934. 90 Years ago now. This livery is very soon to be repeated and revealed at the Severn Valley Railway 2024 Spring Steam Gala.
