Overhaul update
The left hand rear sandbox has been re-fitted and just needs the nuts and bolts painting to complete the work.
The “floor” plate thickness varies from its original of around 16mm down to about 1mm in places and for much of its area is at least half its original thickness although it is difficult to see this from the photos.
The rear drag box under the cab is going to need major work as these photo'show.
The draw pin and draw bar are in place temporarily to allow for movement of the loco around the shed and yard.
